Job Description

We are looking for a PHP Software Development Team Lead to work on innovative projects with a strong technical team. You will lead the development team, design software architecture, and ensure high-quality coding and performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the software development team
2. Develop and maintain PHP-based applications (Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony)
3. Design software architecture and scalable solutions
4. Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and best coding practices
5. Integrate backend with frontend (RESTful APIs) and databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
6. Track project progress, issues, and tasks using Jira or similar tools
7. Support Agile methodology and sprint planning
8. Ensure Linux-based deployment and server setup compliance

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
2. Minimum 7 years of software development experience
3. Previous experience leading/managing a software development team
4. Strong PHP development skills, experience with at least one major framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony)
5. Experience in software architecture and design
6. Experience with version control tools (Git / Subversion)
7. Knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
8. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
9. Residing in Ankara or willing to relocate
10. No travel restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

1. Familiarity with Linux server administration
2. Experience with RESTful APIs and database optimization
3. Knowledge of modern frontend integration (JavaScript frameworks, Tailwind CSS, etc.)
